Preparation and presentation of Financial Statements of registered entities are the responsibilities of such entities. However, in line with statutory requirements, such Financial Statements must be audited and certified by duly appointed External Auditor, who will in turn examine the records so prepared by Management with a view to expressing an opinion. Both the preparation and examination must comply with the relevant provisions of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Financial Reporting Council (FRC), and Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA). The essence of an External audit therefore, is to enable management and other stakeholders to have an independent and objective opinion on the state of affairs of an entity at the reporting date.
We carry out the following accountancy services for our clients: Installation of accounting systems, incorporating cash books, petty cash books, general ledgers, extraction of Trial Balance and preparation of final accounts; Installation of stock control system, vote books and maintenance Installation of fixed assets register and advisory services on fixed assets accounting; General accounting and book keeping services; Development of accounting and operations manuals, etc.
